I’ve finally made another vlog, and I feel so good about it. I hope you enjoy the scenery shots of Rohobeth Beach, Bethany Beach, the boardwalk, and some other places.
I’ve never really liked family vacations. I can’t believe it has taken me over 30 years to find a way to document, enjoy and also relax during one. Getting footage has been so therapeutic for me; I have never been more in the moment, enjoying the beauty of life and nature than when I pick up my phone and start recording. I’ve added a ND filter over the lens to help with some of the glare, but really I think it was more about loving the vibe it gave the videos than actually polarizing.
As you can see, I’m still learning, but I’m so excited to share this journey with you. When I made my last vlog in 2020, it was a slog and I had a very hard time with it. I guess practice makes perfect. I already have footage for two other vlogs I am working on, but I can’t promise any kind of schedule for uploads. I film when I find beauty. But I will promise to find more beauty in more places so I will hopefully have more to show everyone.
I have another trip planned for August, but I’m worried I won’t get nearly as much footage because it’s in a city and not an easy place to get aesthetic video like a beach. Still, I’m crossing my fingers to make a good city-life video next time.
I hope you like the vlog!
