Daily Outfits – Week 2

Welcome to week two!

First, let’s start with the outfits.

Now, let’s get into what I’ve learned this week.

1. Tees do NOTHING for me

I’m not wearing tee shirts anymore. No cozy tees, no oversized tees, no basic v-necks or scoop necks or crew necks. I’m done with them. They do nothing for my figure, don’t elevate my outfit (though I haven’t tried the blazer and tee combo, but I can’t say I’m very interested) and I’d rather have an equally comfortable statement shirt than throw on a basic tee shirt.

2. I like thick denim

Give me a pair of Levi’s 501s any day. But actually don’t because I haven’t found a style I like yet. I’m kind of over skinny jeans, but buying pants is one of the things I hate the most, so I’ll be tackling that problem very slowly…

3. I need more variety

I had a feeling already that my summer wardrobe was lacking, but seeing the same shirts in just 2 weeks time has made me feel…uneasy. I’d like to add maybe 2 more tops to my summer rotation, but I have no idea what they would be right now. Trying to find a sustainable brand that does elevated basics that are not too basic nor made of a synthetic fabric is…almost impossible.
